Lincoln television station channel 10/11 selected Mr. Hoham's classroom as thier Spring "Spotlight" on Education. Reporter Katie Curtright focused her story on the use of the internet and how it has positive effects on the classroom. As the story detailed, research shows that the consistent use of computers and the internet can increase student achievement.
Examples of how students link thier novels to the classroom web page (http://www.hohamclass.com), take practice tests (self grading) on-line, and send thier homework electronically to Mr. Hoham were provided via student interviews. As anchor man Randy Lynn stated, "Wow....English can sure be fun and you can learn more too!"
