• What is an ‘On-Line Classroom?’

 

-An on-line classroom is a web page that allows the user to interact with the content on the page. In other words, the user can download and edit assignments, print them, and even send them via e-mail as an attachment to Mr. Hoham. In addition, you can view assignment calendars, connect to instructional links, and review your course expectations. As an added feature, you can even take "self grading" practice exams that will help you learn the material for your course!

 

• How do I access the assignments for my class?

 

-Good question! On the front page you will see a section titled ‘Handouts’ All you need to do is click on the link for your class. Next, you will be directed to a list of assignments that you will be familiar with from your curriculum. Click on the specific assignment and it will appear on your screen (The assignments are formatted in Microsoft Word) at this point you can edit the file, print the file, or even send your finished work as an attachment to Mr. Hoham via e-mail!

 

• How do I e-mail my teacher?

 

-Directly below the picture of Mr. Hoham on the front page of the web site you will see his e-mail address. Just click on it and your e-mail program will open and you are ready to send your message!

 

• How do I find current and future assignments for my class?

 

-On the front page of the web site you will see a section titled ‘Calendars –Important events’. Click on the name of your class and it will take you to a monthly assignment calendar.

 

• I need help finding information for a research paper as well as my novel for this class, can I get help by using this web site?

 

-Yes! On the front page look for the section titled ‘Research Links’, click on the Research Paper Help link, and when you are ready to work on your novel, click on the ‘Novel Study Notes’ link. You will be taken to a web site that should provide you with the information that you need.
