- Mr. Hoham's On-Line Classroom has won the 'INTERNATIONAL STUDENT MEDIA FESTIVAL' award for best overall website! 'The Association for Educational Communications and Technology' sponsored the contest. The web page was recognized at an Awards Ceremony in Denver, CO on October 27, 2000.

- This website was selected as a 'finalist' (April, 2000) by the 'On-line Academy' at Kansas University for the 'E-Learning Design Award'! (Only 20 'on-line classrooms' were selected as finalists nationwide.)
- In addition, it was presented at the Midwest Internet Institute in August, 2000 as an example of effective educational use of the internet!
